The idea is to offer a faster, cheaper and more transparent payment option for companies that already hold treasury in digital assets, compared to slow bank wires. Participation is limited to entities that sign the Memorandum and meet AFSA’s eligibility rules, so this is a controlled experiment, not a free‑for‑all. If the pilot works, Astana could cement its reputation as a hub for next‑gen digital finance.
