QRIS

QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) is Indonesia’s national QR payment standard introduced by Bank Indonesia. It unifies banks, digital wallets and payment providers under a single interoperable QR code, allowing consumers to pay using their preferred app. By 2025, QRIS had reached around 40 million merchants and 57.6 million users, making it one of Southeast Asia’s largest QR payment ecosystems.
